Consumer Description

THIS IS IN REGARDS TO THE RECENT RECALL ON 2005-2007 CORVETTE HEAD LIGHT ASSEMBLY. I HAVE A SIMILAR PROBLEM THOUGH THE ELECTRIC SHORT IN THE LIGHT HARNESS CAUSED MY RIGHT BLINK TO NOT FUNCTION. THE GM DEALERSHIP THAT I TOOK IT TO STATED THE WHOLE LIGHT ASSEMBLY HAD TO BE REPLACED. MY CORVETTE HAS NOT BEEN RECALLED AS OF YET AND WHEN I CONTACT GM THEY DON'T SEE TO UNDERSTAND MY CLAIM. FROM MY UNDERSTANDING THE HARNESS THAT IS CAUSING THE LOW BEAMS TO NOT WORK IS THE SAME HARNESS FOR THE ENTIRE LIGHT ASSEMBLY. I HAD THIS REPAIRED ALREADY AND LOOKING TO HELP TO GET SOME COMPENSATION BACK. *TR
