Consumer Description

WHEN IN PARK, THE ENGINE IDLES VERY ROUGHLY. AS A RESULT OF THE ROUGH IDLE, THE FUEL ECONOMY IS NOT AS GOOD AS IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE. TWICE, THE CAR HAS STOPPED RUNNING WHEN AT A STOP SIGN/TRAFFIC LIGHT. WHEN I REPORTED TO MY DEALER, THE DEALER INFORMED ME THERE WAS A TSB ON THE ISSUE AND THE SOLUTION WAS TO RUN TIER 1 GASOLINE IN THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER INDICATED THAT GM DOES NOT HAVE A "FIX" FOR THE PROBLEM. THE CAR HAS THE 1.8 L GASOLINE ENGINE WITH SIX SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. *TR
