Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 HONDA CR-V. THE CONTACT STATED WHEN TURNING THE IGNITION SWITCH, THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL NOISE COMING FROM THE VEHICLE BEFORE STARING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE STARTER MOTOR AND THE WIRING CABLE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 96,000. ..UPDATED 08/11/14 *BF UPDATED 08/19/2014 *JS
