Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 CHEVROLET TAHOE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR DRIVER SIDE DOOR COULD NOT BE UNLOCKED FROM THE OUTSIDE OF THE VEHICLE MANUALLY OR REMOTELY. THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE DEFECT WAS REPAIRED BY THE DEALER BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE CONTACT ALSO INDICATED THAT THE ARM REST CONSOLE WITH CLIMATE CONTROL FOR THE REAR SEATS BECAME VERY HOT TO THE TOUCH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000.
