Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 FORD F-350. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH, THE VEHICLE ABNORMALLY DECELERATED TO 20 MPH AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. A MECHANIC RECOMMENDED THAT THE VCT PHASERS BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED ON THREE OCCASIONS HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,635 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 37,000. UPDATED 6/27/14*CN
