Consumer Description

2008 FORD FUSION. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO VEHICLE IGNITION KEY SWITCH FAILURE. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED AFTER RETURNING TO HIS VEHICLE, WITH THE KEYS IN HIS HAND, HE OPENED THE DOOR, PUT THE KEY IN THE IGNITION TO TURN IT, BUT NOTHING HAPPENED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER. A DIAGNOSIS REVEALED A FAILED CHIP IN THE KEY WENT BAD. THE KEY FOB HAD TO BE REPLACED AND A NEW KEY HAD TO BE MADE. *JB
