2008 MAZDA CX9 SMART KEY, AFTER REPROGRAMMING ($350) NEW FOBS ($100 EACH) AND NUMEROUS BATTERY REPLACING THE SMART KEY STILL WILL NOT FUNCTION AS PROMISED, WIRELESSLY UNLOCKING, LOCKING AND STARTING THE VEHICLE. HERE IS ONLY ONE KEY HOLE ON THE VEHICLE, WHICH CASES HE OWNER/ DRIVER/ USER TO CONSTANTLY WALK AROUND THE VEHICLE TO LOCK/ UNLOCK AND/OR START THE CAR. IT ALSO GREATLY INCREASES THE RISK OF LOOSING THE ONLY HARD COPY OF THE KEY COSTING ANOTHER $350 IN PROGRAMMING AND CUTTING. *TR
