Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 FORD FOCUS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT ALL OF THE DOORS FAILED TO OPEN FROM BOTH THE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE LATCHES WERE CONTAMINATED WITH DUST. AS A RESULT, THE LATCHES AND POWER WINDOW SOLENOID WOULD NEED REPLACING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 58,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 85,000.
