TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 TOYOTA RAV4. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE ENGINE RACED AS THE RPMS INCREASED. THE VEHICLE THEN ACCELERATED INDEPENDENTLY. THE CONTACT WAS PREVIOUSLY SERVICED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 11V113000 (VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT ALERTED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 62,215. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED.
