Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 DODGE RAM 3500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE HAULING A TRAILER AT 60 MPH, THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED AS THE VEHICLE LOST ACCELERATION POWER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER SEVERAL TIMES FOR THE FAILURE WHERE THE DEALER REPLACED THE PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE, THE FUEL FILTER TWICE, THE FUEL PUMP WAS REPLACED THREE TIMES, THE FUEL CANISTER HOUSING WAS REPLACED FOUR TIMES, AND THE SOFTWARE WAS UPDATED BUT THE FAILURE WAS NOT CORRECTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 156,894 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 177,000.
