Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 NISSAN TITAN. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 25 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE DID NOT RESTART. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE ECM RELAY INSIDE THE IPDM ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED IN ORDER TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED FOR THE NHTSA RECALL CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 10V517000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING); HOWEVER, THE FAILURE CONTINUED TO OCCUR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 97,000.
