Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS 2012 TOYOTA CAMRY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN SHE ATTEMPTED TO START THE VEHICLE IT WOULD NOT START. THE VEHICLE WOULD ONLY START WITH A JUMP START AND THEN IT WAS DRIVEN TO THE DEALER. THIS FAILURE OCCURRED FOUR TIMES OVER A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE CHARGED AND WAS NOT BEING DRIVEN ENOUGH. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE DEFECT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 8,400.
