Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 DODGE JOURNEY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY STALLED. THE CONTACT ALSO INDICATED THAT WHEN THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS FROM 2ND TO 3RD GEAR, A VIBRATION WAS PRESENT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION COMPUTER NEEDED TO BE REPROGRAMMED. THE REPROGRAMMING WAS PERFORMED BUT THE DEFECT CONTINUED TO OCCUR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE DEFECT. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 46,000.
