Consumer Description
THIS COMPLAINT IS NOT RELATED TO AN ACCIDENT, BUT TO A POTENTIALLY SERIOUS DESIGN FLAW. THE US VERSION OF THE 4-DOOR, 5 SEATER JEEP DOES NOT HAVE A HEAD RESTRAINT IN THE CENTER REAR SEAT. DOES THIS REALLY COMPLY WITH ALL NHTSA REQUIREMENTS? HOW CAN A CAR COMPANY IN 2014 CALL THE CAR A 5-SEATER BUT ONLY HAVE 4 HEAD RESTRAINTS? THE UK VERSION OF THE SAME CAR HAS 3 HEAD RESTRAINTS IN THE REAR SEAT SO IT IS POSSIBLE. THIS IS INCREDIBLY UNSAFE AND I CAN'T BELIEVE IT MEETS THE GUIDELINES. *TR
