Consumer Description

"POWER STEERING" FLASHED ON THE RADIO WITH A CHIME THEN THE POWER STEERING FAILED AND COULD NOT TURN THE STEERING WHEEL. MY WIFE ALMOST HIT THE NEIGHBORS DAUGHTER ON A BICYCLE JUST COMING OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY TO TURN ONTO THE STREET. DUE TO MILEAGE ON THE VEHICLE (159,000), GM STATES THAT IT DOES NOT FALL WITHIN THE PARAMETERS OF THE WARRANTY THEREFORE NOT COVERING THE COST OF REPAIR. THIS SITUATION SHOULD BE A FULL RECALL, REGARDLESS OF MILEAGE!!! THE ELECTRIC PUMP NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN BUILT INSIDE THIS CAR! *TR
