TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 FORD ESCAPE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE STEERING WHEEL FAILED WITHOUT WARNING AND BECAME HARD TO TURN. THE CONTACT DROVE VERY SLOWLY TO BE ABLE TO COMPLETE THE TURN. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO HAVE DIAGNOSTIC PERFORMED OR REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE.
