Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 HONDA ACCORD. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ENGINE RPMS INCREASED ABNORMALLY AS A BURNING ODOR AND SMOKE WAS EMITTED FROM UNDER THE HOOD. ADDITIONALLY, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL MECHANIC, WHO ADVISED THE CONTACT THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 70,000.
