Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 HUMMER H3. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THE DASHBOARD CAUGHT ON FIRE FROM THE PASSENGER'S SIDE OF THE HEATER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE HARNESS, RESISTER FAN MOTOR, REPLAY, HEATER HOSES AND BAFFLE FAN NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 112,000.
