Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 DODGE AVENGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN REVERSING OR MOVING FORWARD WITH THE BRAKE PEDAL DEPRESSED, A LIGHT NOISE WAS HEARD FROM THE BRAKES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO TWO DEALERS FOR INSPECTION. THE FIRST DEALER CLEANED THE BRAKE SYSTEM BUT THE FAILURE WAS NOT CORRECTED. THE SECOND DEALER STATED THAT THE BRAKING SYSTEM WAS OPERATING NORMALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,288 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 37,000.
