Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHTING SYSTEM FAILED; THEREFORE, THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO KNOW HOW FAST HE WAS DRIVING AND UNABLE TO SEE OR READ ANY OF THE GAUGES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 143,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 147,000.
