Consumer Description
CAR LOST POWER AND ENGINE SEEM TO IDLE THREE TIMES WITHIN A 4 MILE TRIP. I TOOK THE CAR TO A REPAIR SHOP AND WAS TOLD THAT THE "THROTTLE ACTUATOR CONTROL SYSTEM" WAS STUCK OPEN (ERROR CODE P2111). THE MECHANIC TOLD ME THAT FORD HAD PUT OUT BULLETINS IN THE PAST REFERENCING THIS PROBLEM. HE ALSO SAID THE REPLACEMENT PART WAS DIFFICULT TO FIND BECAUSE STOCKS WERE LOW DUE TO THIS FREQUENT PROBLEM WITH OTHER FORD FUSION OWNERS. *TR
