Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 BMW Z4. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE POWER STEERING FAILED AND THE STEERING WHEEL TIGHTENED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 38,000. UPDATED 10/31/13*LJ THE CONSUMER STATED THE STEERING WHEEL WAS STICKY AND IT EXTREME EFFORT TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER INFORMED HIM, THE ENTIRE STEERING COMPONENT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONSUMER STATED THE STEERING INCIDENT HAPPENED AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED FOR 4 HOURS IN 85 DEGREE WEATHER. UPDATED 11/12/13
