Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 DODGE RAM 2500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ENGINE BURST INTO FLAMES SPONTANEOUSLY. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE FIRE ORIGINATED FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED AND NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND SENT AN ENGINEER TO INSPECT THE VEHICLE. HOWEVER, HE WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE WHAT CAUSED THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 90,000.
