Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 HONDA CR-V. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH, THE FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE WHEEL BECAME DETACHED FROM THE VEHICLE WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, WHO WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN ANY RECALLS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 27,000. .... UPDATED 10-17-13 *BF
