Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET EQUINOX. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, A STRONG ODOR OF FUEL EMITTED INSIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER. THERE WAS A RECALL UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 12V459000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE). THE VEHICLE HAD A SALVAGED TITLE AND WAS INELIGIBLE UNDER THE RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 35,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
