Consumer Description

WHILE DRIVING SOUTH ON LAKESHORE DRIVE IN CHICAGO, MY CAR ENGINE SHUT OFF ON ME. I WAS ABLE TO PULL OVER TO THE SHOULDER WITHOUT INCIDENT. I PUT THE CAR IN PARK AND IT IMMEDIATELY STARTED AGAIN. WHEN THE ENGINE STOPPED THERE WAS NO WARNING, NO INDICATOR LIGHTS ON THE DASHBOARD OR ANYTHING ELSE. THIS HAS HAPPENED NO FEWER THAN 25 TIMES OVER THE PAST YEAR, INCLUDING FIVE TIMES IN THE LAST WEEK. MOST OF THE INCIDENTS OCCURRED DURING THE SPRING/SUMMER MONTHS. I'VE TAKEN MY VEHICLE TO SEVERAL DIFFERENT MECHANICS AND EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM TO THEM. NONE OF THEM HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DETECT WHAT IS WRONG. *TR
