Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 GMC ACADIA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD HESITATE TO ACCELERATE AND OPERATE SLUGGISHLY. THE TIMING CHAIN WAS REPLACED BY THE DEALER HOWEVER, THE FAILURE LATE RECURRED WITH THE ILLUMINATION OF THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT. AN ENGINE FLUSH WAS PERFORMED ON THE VEHICLE AND THE FAILURE SUBSIDED FOR THREE WEEKS BEFORE RECURRING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER, WHO ADVISED THAT THERE WAS A SEIZED SOLENOID IN THE TRANSMISSION, WHICH WOULD REQUIRE REPLACING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 120,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 130,000. *TR
