Consumer Description
2006 HONDA ACCORD. CONSUMER SEEKS REIMBURSEMENT FOR A FAULTY POWER STEERING HOSE. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED SHE WROTE HONDA REQUESTING REIMBURSEMENT FOR ADDITIONAL EXPENSES INCURRED DUE TO THE FAULTY ENGINEERING AND POOR QUALITY OF THE OEM'S POWER STEERING HOSE. HONDA CONTACTED THE CONSUMER, TO INFORM HER, THEY WOULD NOT HONOR HER REQUEST. DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE VEHICLE FUNCTIONED FOR MANY YEARS WITH THE FAULTY HOSE, THE POWER STEERING PUMP HAD TO BE REPLACED AS WELL. THE CONSUMER REFERENCED RECALL # 12V222000
