Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 DODGE RAM 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE REAR DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE TIRES SEIZED. THE REAR DRIVE SHAFT AND THE REAR DEFERENTIAL WERE ALSO FRACTURED. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO CONTINUE DRIVING AND HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO THE DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INSPECTED TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE, BUT OFFERED NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 140,000.
