Consumer Description

2002 FORD F250 SUPER DUTY RUSTED STEEL BRAKE LINE WHICH CAUSED THE BRAKES TO FAIL AT 25MPH IN NEIGHBORHOOD. I HAVE 84,507 MILES ON THE VEHICLE AND DO NOT LIVE IN A HARSH ENVIRONMENT. THE LOCATION OF RUSTY AREA IS APPROXIMATELY 6 - 12 INCHES AWAY FROM JUNCTION SPLICE FOR THE FRONT BRAKES AND REAR BRAKE LINE. THE RUSTY BRAKE LINE IS THE LONG REAR BRAKE LINE. THE STEEL BRAKE LINE IS RUBBING A CABLE COVER THAT HAS METAL TAPE ON IT AND HAS CAUSED PREMATURE RUSTING. I LIVE IN EAST TENNESSEE AND THE WEATHER IS NOT HARSH. I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE NEW AND HAD BRAKE ROTOR PROBLEMS BEFORE AND HAD THE DEALER TO TURN THE ROTORS ONCE AND REPLACE THE FRONT ROTORS. THANK GOODNESS I WAS TRAVELING IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD WHEN THIS HAPPEN. THE WEEK BEFORE I DROVE THE TRUCK ON I-40 GOING TO NORTH CAROLINA THRU THE GORGE. WHAT IF IT HAPPENED THEN? *TR
