Consumer Description

THIS IS THE 3RD TIME IN THE 5YRS I HAVE OWNED THIS VEHICLE THAT WE HAVE LOST CONTROL OF THE FRONT WINDSHIELD WIPERS DURING A RAIN STORM IN FLORIDA. WE HAVE REPLACED AT OUR EXPENSE THE WIPER CONTROL MODULE. THIS TIME BEING THE SHORTEST SPAN OF ABOUT A MONTH BEFORE IT GETS DAMP AND MALFUNCTIONS. WIPERS EITHER WORK INTERMITTENT OR NOT AT ALL AND THIS HAMPERS VISIBILITY AND CAN CAUSE A WRECK. I HAVE NOTICED THAT GM HAD A RECALL FOR 2003 BUT NOT FOR OTHER YEARS. I ALSO AM A MEMBER OF THE HUMMER FORUM AND CAN TELL YOU THAT THIS IS COMMON AMONGST ALL YEARS. *TR
