Consumer Description

THE TRANSMISSION ON OUR '07 ACADIA WENT OUT AFTER ONLY 67,000 MILES. WE HAD TO PAY OVER $3,000 OUT OF OUR OWN POCKETS TO GET IT REPAIRED BECAUSE IT WAS OVER THE FIVE YEAR WARRANTY PERIOD EVEN THOUGH IT WAS STILL WELL UNDER THE MILEAGE LIMIT. WHEN YOU PAY OVER $30,000 FOR A VEHICLE YOU EXPECT IT TO LAST LONGER THAN OURS DID WITHOUT HAVING TO PAY THOUSANDS MORE TO KEEP IT OPERATIONAL. A FEW MONTHS AFTER GETTING THE DRIVE TRAIN REPAIRED WE ARE EXPERIENCING CAMSHAFT/CRANKSHAFT ISSUES. THE VEHICLE IS FUNCTIONING AT ABOUT 60% OF ITS ORIGINAL POWER. WE CAN ONLY ASSUME THAT THIS WILL ENTAIL ANOTHER COSTLY REPAIR. *TR
