Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 GMC ACADIA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE MAKING A TURN AT 25 MPH, THE STEERING FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS MERGED TO THE SHOULDER AND RESTARTED THEN OPERATED AS NORMAL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION AND THEY STATED THAT THE POWER STEERING PUMP NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 84,400.
