Consumer Description

DEFECTIVE DASHBOARDS INSTALLED BY GM CREATE A SAFETY HAZARD. CRACKS OCCURRED ON DRIVERS SIDE (HUMP ABOVE STEERING WHEEL) AND CRACKS IN DASH ON BOTH SIDES OF AIRBAG. IF AIRBAG DEPLOYS CRACKED PIECES OF DASH COULD CAUSE HARM TO DRIVER AND PASSENGERS IN VEHICLE. GM IS AWARE OF THIS WELL KNOWN PROBLEM/DEFECT AND IT IS VERY WIDESPREAD WITH THOUSANDS OR MORE GM CUSTOMERS HAVING THE SAME ISSUE YET GM REFUSES TO REPLACE DEFECTIVE DASH FOR CUSTOMERS WHICH IS ULTIMATELY PUTTING GM CUSTOMERS AND THEIR PASSENGERS IN DANGER. *TR
