Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE TRAVELING 45 MPH, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS MOVED TO THE SHOULDER. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE AND WAS THEN TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO BE INSPECTED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS CAUSED BY CYLINDER NUMBER 4 MISFIRING IN THE HEAD OF THE ENGINE. THE DEALER ALSO STATED THAT THE PART WAS CURRENTLY ON BACK ORDER. THE VEHICLE WAS AWAITING REPAIRS. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 23,000.
