Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 FORD ESCAPE. THE CONTACT STARTED THE IGNITION AND AN UNUSUAL NOISE EMITTED FROM THE ENGINE AREA AND THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE ENGINE WAS SHUT DOWN. UPON RESTARTING, THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO RESUME NORMALLY. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WHILE IDLING OR WHEN THE IGNITION WAS STARTED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE MALFUNCTION. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNAVAILABLE.
