Consumer Description
WHILE TURNING TRUCK STARTED TO EMIT NOISES, SOUNDED LIKE AN EXHAUST PROBLEM, MANIFOLD ETC. NO SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT ON AND ALL GAUGES WERE NORMAL. THEN WHILE DRIVING, AS TRUCK SHIFTED DOWN TO OVERDRIVE, NOISE RETURNED, LOSS OF POWER, BUT AGAIN NO SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT, GAUGES ALL NORMAL. TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALER, HAVE BEEN TOLD, ENGINE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED,(81,250 MILES/130,000KM) FOR A MEAGER $6000. VEHICLE HAS BEEN DEALER MAINTAINED SINCE NEW, OIL CHANGED EVERY 3125, MILES/5000KM (BY DEALER) STILL NO SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT, GAUGES STILL READING NORMAL. MANUFACTURER WILL DO NOTHING. LOOKING FOR LAWYER WHO WOULD LIKE TO START CLASS ACTION SUIT AGAINST MANUFACTURER, CONSIDERING ALL THE ISSUES I HAVE FOUND ON THE 2006 F150 V8 TRITON SINCE STARTING RESEARCH YESTERDAY, THERE ARE A LOT OF US THAT FORD IS NOT WILLING TO ASSIST. *TR
