TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 TOYOTA COROLLA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WERE SMALL METAL FRAGMENTS AROUND THE FUEL TANK CAP AND FILLER NECK AREA AND A STRONG FUEL ODOR WAS COULD BE NOTICED WHILE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A MECHANIC AND WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 150,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
