Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT CC. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO JERK VIOLENTLY AND THE ENGINE STALLED WITHOUT ANY WARNING. UPON RESTARTING, THE VEHICLE RESUMED NORMALLY. THE FAILURE RECURRED CONTINUOUSLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHO WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE DEFECT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
