Consumer Description

WENT TO LOCK DRIVER SIDE DOOR AND INSIDE LOCK WOULD NOT PUSH DOWN AND FOUND OUTSIDE LOCK HAD FALLEN INSIDE THE DOOR PANEL. ONLINE RESEARCH INDICATES THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM ON AVEOS DUE TO DEFECTIVE PLASTIC PARTS AND DEALERSHIPS SEEM TO BE CHARGING VERY HIGH AMOUNT TO REPAIR. SEEMS THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL PROVIDED BY GMC TO FIX THIS PROBLEM AS PREVENTS BEING ABLE TO SECURE THE VEHICLE AND BELONGINGS AND OCCUPANTS OF THE VEHICLE. *TR
