Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 NISSAN MURANO. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE TRAVELING 65 THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO BE DRIVEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS FOUND THAT THE ENGINE HAD FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THERE WAS A SMALL DELAY IN ACCELERATOR RESPONSE TIME. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED ABOUT THE ISSUE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 09V169000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 166,280 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 166,311.
