Consumer Description

WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY IT SUDDENLY STARTED RAINING VERY HEAVILY. I TURNED ON MY WINDSHIELD WIPERS AND NOTHING HAPPENED. THE WIPERS DID NOT WORK AND I WAS UNABLE TO SEE. IT TURNS OUT THE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR FAILED. APPARENTLY THIS HAS BEEN A PROBLEM IN THE PAST AND RECALLS WERE ORDERED, BUT NOT FOR MY MODEL YEAR EVEN THOUGH THE PROBLEM APPARENTLY STILL PERSISTS. LOOKING ON HYUNDAI ACCENT MESSAGE BOARDS AND FORUMS THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM. PLEASE ISSUE ANOTHER RECALL AND HYUNDAI FIX THEIR CARS BEFORE SOMEONE GETS KILLED. *TR
