Consumer Description

I WAS DRIVING ON INTERSTATE 90 WHEN MY TRUCK SUDDENLY SHUT DOWN FOR NO REASON. NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS, JUST A TOTAL LOSS OF POWER AND THE STEERING LOCKED UP. I WAS ABLE TO RESTART IT BY THROWING IT INTO NEUTRAL, BUT IT WOULD NOT RESTART IN PARK. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING OFF AND ON, AND NO MECHANICS CAN SEEM TO FIGURE IT OUT SINCE IT DOESN'T HAPPEN ALL THE TIME. I'M SCARED TO DRIVE IT. I HAVE BEEN ON DODGEFORUM.COM, AND THERE ARE MANY DODGE MODELS/YEARS SUFFERING THIS PROBLEM, BUT NO RECALL HAS BEEN ISSUED. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO TO GET IT FIXED (NOR DO I HAVE THE MONEY TO KEEP TAKING IT IN AGAIN AND AGAIN). IT "CODES OUT" AS AN ELECTRICAL/COMPUTER ISSUE OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN THAT NO ONE HAS YET BEEN ABLE TO FIX, DESPITE REPLACED VALVES, RELAYS, ETC. *TR
