Consumer Description

HELLO, WHEN IM DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD THE REDUCED ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS SINCE IT ALSO HAPPENS ON THE HIGHWAY. WHEN I SHUT THE CAR OFF AND LET IT SIT FOR 3 OR 4 MIN AND RESTART IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN ABOUT 2 MILES DOWN THE ROAD. GMC SAYS THEY KNOW ABOUT THE ISSUE BUT THEY DO NOT HAVE A FIX FOR IT. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO SEVERAL SHOPS AND THEY SAY THAT GM SAYS THE SAME THING ( WE KNOW ABOUT THE ISSUE BUT DO NOT HAVE A FIX FOR IT). THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL ON THESE VEHICLES DO TO THIS HAPPENING AND COULD CAUSE A MAJOR ACCIDENT. THERE ARE ALOT OF OTHER PPL HAVING THIS SAME ISSUE. THANKS *TR
