TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HYUNDAI ACCENT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE WAS REVERSING FROM A PARKING LOT WHEN THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED INDEPENDENTLY. THE CONTACT COMPLETELY POWERED OFF THE VEHICLE IN ORDER TO STOP THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 3,100.
