Consumer Description

ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 25TH, WHEN DRIVING ON A HILLY ROADWAY, I ACCELERATED TO P/U SPEED TO GET UP THE HILL. THE TRANSMISSION SOUNDED LIKE IT WAS STRAINING AND RPM WAS OVER 3000. WHEN I REACHED THE TOP OF THE HILL AND STARTED THE DESCENT, I HIT THE BRAKE TO REDUCE MY SPEED, BUT THE VEHICLE DID NOT SLOW DOWN AND THE TRANSMISSION WAS STUCK WITH RPMS STILL OVER 3000. IT TOOK MORE THAN 10 SECONDS FOR THE TRANSMISSION TO SHIFT DOWN. IF THERE WAS A VEHICLE IN THE SAME LANE AS MINE, THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN AN ACCIDENT. *TR
