Consumer Description
THE H-VAC SYSTEM DOES NOT WORK. WHEN AIR CONDITIONING IS USED WATER SEEPS INTO THE FLOORBOARD AND COMPLETELY SOAKS THE FLOOR AND MAT, WHICH CREATES A VERY RANK ODOR. TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM IT WILL COST THE CONSUMER APPROXIMATELY $800.00. THIS IS CLEARLY AN ENGINEER DEFECT/FLAW. WE WERE TOLD BY AN MITSUBISHI SERVICE REP THAT THE FOLLOWING YEAR (2005) IT WAS CORRECTED. OBVIOUSLY MITSUBISHI WAS AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM. WHY WASN'T A RECALL DONE ON THIS PROBLEM? I THINK IT CERTAINLY WARRANTS ONE. HOW MANY OTHER PEOPLE HAVE BEEN AFFECTED BY THIS? WHY SHOULD THE CONSUMER ASSUME COSTS FOR SOMETHING THAT WAS NOT MADE CORRECTLY? I AM BAFFLED, AS TO WHY A CAR CORPORATION WOULD NOT TAKE CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS? *TR
