Consumer Description

LUG NUT RECALL IS NOT AN EFFECTIVE SOLUTION. THIS CAR HAD A LUG SHEAR IN 2011. I HAD MERIDIAN FORD PERFORM THE RECALL SERVICE JAN. 26TH OF 2012. MID AUG OF 2012 I NOTICED ANOTHER LUG HAD SHEARED. NO ONE HAS TOUCHED/TIGHTENED THE LUG NUTS. THE PROCESS OF SIMPLY REPLACING LUG NUTS AND THE ALREADY SHEARED LUGS IS NOT EFFECTIVE. IT IS JUST A MATTER OF TIME UNTIL ALL OF THOSE LUGS ARE STRESSED TO THE POINT OF SHEARING. I CAN NOT GET THE FORD DEALER TO DO ANYTHING OTHER THAN REPLACE THE SHEARED LUG. I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE THIS CAR AS IT IS NOT SAFE AND THE WHEELS MAY SEPARATE AT ANY TIME. I'D LIKE TO KNOW WHAT COURSE OF ACTION TO TAKE NEXT? *TR
