Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 HONDA CIVIC. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE AND WOULD NOT SHIFT INTO ANY GEARS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSE THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED ON ANY RECALLS. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 167,000.
