I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW FORD F 150 IN AUGUST OF 2011. I HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING BANGING IN THE STEERING WHEEL AS WELL AS AN AUDIBLE NOTE AT LOW SPEEDS AND HIGH SPEEDS. ALWAYS WHEN THE TRUCK IS COASTING STRAIGHT WITHOUT ANY INPUT IN THE STEERING. I HAVE GOTTEN NO WHERE WITH THE PURCHASE DEALER....APPLE FORD IN COLUMBIA MD. I AM TAKING IT TO A DIFFERENT DEALER WITH HOPES THAT THEY WILL GIVE A [XXX] AND TRY AND GET TO THE BOTTOM OF IT. I BELIEVE THAT THIS IS BECOMING A SAFETY ISSUE!!!! MY WIFE REFUSES TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE WITH MY CHILDREN.......IT IS THAT BAD. WHAT, IF ANYTHING, IS BEING DONE ABOUT THIS PROBLEM? HOPEFULLY SOMEONE WILL NOT LOSE THEIR LIFE IN ORDER FOR FORD TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM. I WOULD TRADE THE TRUCK TODAY IF I COULD TAKE, ON THE CHIN, THE $10000+ LOSS ON A NEW VEHICLE.
